Throughout the entire software development life cycle (SLDC), a plethora of data (log, wire, test outputs, reports, etc.) can be extracted, mined, classified, and analyzed to yield valuable insights that help us better answer this question. Applying various methodologies and tools for this data analysis is what we call a "Shift-Deep" approach.
This paper explains the Shift-Deep approach and the various toolsets, algorithms, and mechanisms required to execute it. We also look into a few use cases and examples where this has been done successfully.
